Meet Zelda

Zelda is a sweet 4-year-old girl with a heart full of love and so much life left to live. Her story began in circumstances no dog should ever have to endure. She spent most of her life living outdoors, exposed to extreme weather, sleeping on nothing but dirt, never knowing when her next meal would come, and experiencing very little human interaction.

But somehow, through it all, Zelda’s gentle spirit remained.

Today, she is discovering just how wonderful life can be when you’re safe, loved, and no longer have to worry about tomorrow. And honestly? She’s making the most of it! Zelda absolutely thrives around people and wants to be by her foster’s side every chance she gets. Whether she’s following you from room to room or simply settling in nearby, she’s happiest when her people are close.

Zelda isn’t asking for a life full of adventure or constant excitement. She’s more of a cozy Netflix-and-chill kind of girl. Give her a comfy spot beside you, a tasty treat, and someone to love, and she’s pretty much living her dream. After everything she’s been through, there’s something so special about watching her embrace the simple comforts every dog deserves.

Walks beautifully on a leash, with the occasional curious pull when something catches her attention
Redirects easily and is eager to please
About 90% crate trained, and practically a pro with a blanket over her crate and a few treats to help her settle in
May do best in a home without cats or small critters, as her reaction to a guinea pig suggests they may not be her cup of tea!

Zelda has already spent far too much of her life without the comfort, security, and affection every dog deserves. Now, she’s ready for a forever home where she can finally exhale, put her past behind her, and simply be a dog. A dog who gets a soft place to sleep, a full belly, gentle hands, and the reassurance that she will never be forgotten or left behind again.

There is something truly special about Zelda. She has this beautiful, pure soul that seems to shine right through her eyes. She doesn’t need grand gestures or a perfect life. She just wants to be near her person, share her love freely, and know that she belongs.

We can only imagine how different Zelda’s life could have been if she had known this kind of love from the beginning. But her story isn’t over, and the best chapters are still waiting to be written.

I understand and agree that Rescue PAC makes no expressed or implied warranty, representation or promise to the age, health, breed, habits, disposition or safety of the animal. I hereby accept the animal as is, assume all risks and responsibilities associated with the ownership of the animal, including bites, and I hereby fully and completely release, indemnify, and hold harmless Rescue PAC, its directors, officers, volunteers, servants, and employees from any claim, cause of action or liability of any sort or nature, whether known or unknown, directly or indirectly arising out of or in connection with the adoption, care or ownership, maintenance, temperament or condition of the animal.

I agree in the case I cannot keep the animal, he/she will be returned to Rescue PAC, and all monies, deposited with Rescue PAC will be considered a donation to the rescue and are non-refundable.

I acknowledge falsification of the above can result in my being denied adoption of an animal or if animal has been adopted to me, the return of that animal to Rescue PAC.
