Basic guidelines to follow while caring for a dog:

  • At no point should our rescue dog be off leash in a open public area
  • If an injury occurs, reach out to us so we can provide you guidance
  • When it comes to planned vacations please give us proper notice so we can find placement
  • Educate yourself of basic dog care prior to foster commitment
  • Slow introductions to other animals in the home and outside the home

When a foster should contact a Rescue PAC volunteer immediately:

  • Injury to the dog
  • If our rescue bites someone, another dog, or is bit by another dog

Fostering a dog is truly rewarding in so many ways. You get to be apart of a dogs journey and the transformation you get to witness is remarkable.
