Hank (formerly Sonic) was adopted as a tiny puppy, but life recently took an unexpected turn. His family made the tough and selfless decision to surrender him back to Rescue PAC after Hank began developing unknown medical issues about a month ago. Hank is only 6 months old, and we’re doing everything we can to get him answers. He’ll be placed in a foster home with medical experience so he can get the care and comfort he needs while we work closely with our vet team.
Hank’s story started when he was just 6–8 weeks old. He and his six siblings were on the euthanasia list at a shelter in San Antonio, Texas, with only four days left to find safety. Rescue PAC stepped in just in time and gave them a second chance.
Hank has always been the sweetest little cuddle bug. He loves curling up in laps between play sessions and has a calm, gentle personality. Back then, one ear stood straight up while the other was still deciding what to do—it fit his goofy charm perfectly.
Right now, Hank’s future is unknown, but what is certain is that he’s surrounded by love and people fighting for him. We’ll be sharing updates as we learn more about his medical condition
