Meet Romo 🐾

At just about 3 months old, this sweet little guy found himself doing what far too many puppies in the Rio Grande Valley are forced to do—survive.

We don’t know Romo’s story. We don’t know if he was born on the streets or if someone dumped him there. We don’t know how long he had been fending for himself or what he had already experienced before someone finally stepped in.

And maybe we never will.

What we do know is that a local RGV street feeder and animal advocate saw Romo, fought for him, and refused to let his story end on the streets. They reached out to Rescue PAC to make sure this little puppy had a rescue willing to give him the opportunity to become the healthy, happy, loved dog he was always meant to be.

Romo is new to us, so we’re still getting to know him. But he’s already showing us that despite whatever his beginning looked like, his future can look completely different.

No more streets.
No more wondering where his next meal will come from.
No more surviving.

Now, Romo gets to grow, play, learn, and be loved.
