Meet Freya
Freya is a gentle, shy soul who’s still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. Once a stray, she’s made incredible progress learning to trust—and she’s discovered how much she loves affection. Invite her up for a cuddle, and she’ll happily melt into you with kisses.
Freya loves other dogs and would thrive in a home with a confident canine friend to help guide her. She enjoys being your little shadow, quietly following you around as you go about your day.
This smart girl already knows cues like sit, come, relax, off, kennel, and leave it. She’s polite at mealtimes, heading to her crate and waiting patiently to be served, and after a full day of play and activity, she’ll tuck herself into bed like a pro.
Freya is still getting comfortable with car rides and new environments, so she’ll need a patient adopter who can help her continue building confidence. She walks nicely on a leash but can be a little wary of unfamiliar sights and sounds.
Because she hasn’t been exposed to cats or small children, Freya would do best in an adults-only (or teen+) home without cats, where clear boundaries and a calm environment will help her thrive. With time and continued love, there’s no doubt Freya will blossom even further.
