Anatolian Shepherd mix
Clyde and his family were abandoned on a vacant property. Though initially the shyest, he was the first to trust us and quickly bonded with his rescue team. It’s clear that Clyde forms deep, meaningful connections and is fiercely loyal to the people he loves.
Clyde enjoys the simple things in life, sunbathing, playing outside with a ball or squeaky toy, and most of all, snuggling up with his people or canine companions. He truly thrives in the company of other confident dogs and we believe he would do best in a home with another dog to help him feel secure and supported.
Clyde is naturally watchful of his home and family. He is not aggressive, but he can be cautious with unfamiliar people entering his space or approaching his loved ones. Because of this, he will do best with an adopter who understands guardian-type traits and can offer structure, patience, and calm, positive introductions.
Busy environments and crowds can feel overwhelming for Clyde, so a quiet, predictable home where he can settle into a routine will help him shine. In the right environment, Clyde is affectionate, devoted, and deeply connected to his people, a true loyal companion who just wants to feel safe and included.
