Meet Buddy – The Cuddly Shadow with a Playful Spirit!

Don’t let the name fool you—Buddy is a happy little girl who was born at the San Antonio Animal Shelter with her 8 siblings. At just 3 weeks old, she and her mama Rosie were placed on the euthanasia list. Thanks to Rescue PAC, their entire family was rescued and given a second chance.

Now Buddy is blossoming into a confident, loving pup who’s ready to charm her way into your heart. She’s a total shadow—always close by and eager to be part of whatever you’re doing. As she’s grown, she’s become more adventurous and less shy, exploring the world around her with curiosity and joy.

Buddy loves her toys and has taken a special interest in fetching balls and ropes. She knows how to “sit,” is very treat-motivated, and plays both independently and with her people. When it’s nap time, she turns into a snuggle bug—she’ll even let out a few soft cries to let you know she’s ready to be lifted onto the couch for her cuddle session.

Potty training is in progress—she goes outside when she can and uses her pee pads about 80% of the time.

She’s playful, smart, affectionate, and absolutely adorable—everything you could want in a puppy and more!

Ready for a loyal little sidekick with big puppy energy and an even bigger heart?

*Adoption fees for all dogs are $250 and include all essential vaccines, heart worm treatment (if necessary), a microchip and spay/neuter.
