Meet Rex! 🐾❤️

Rex’s story started alongside Ruby, wandering the streets of the RGV and sticking close to one another just to get by. They weren’t siblings, but they became each other’s little sidekick. Ruby has since found her forever home, and now it’s Rex’s turn.

Now around 5 months old, Rex is in full-on puppy mode, and this little guy has a personality all his own. His foster mom says Rex has a heart bigger than T-Rex himself, and we believe it! He’s incredibly smart, loves making people laugh, and has an energy that is absolutely infectious.

Rex is doing amazing in his foster home. He walks great on a leash, knows how to sit, is crate trained, doggie-door trained, and is great with kids and other dogs. He loves his foster siblings and is always ready to play, explore, or join in whatever is happening. And if one of his foster siblings happens to escape the play area? Rex is the first one to sound the alarm. 😂

But underneath all that puppy energy is one serious cuddle bug. Rex loves curling up with his people and has plenty of kisses to hand out. His foster mom says there’s nothing quite like seeing his face first thing in the morning and watching the pure joy he has when he sees you. ❤️

And apparently Rex has a bit of a bougie side. This sophisticated little gentleman likes to listen to spa music when he goes to sleep. Because obviously, a puppy needs to unwind after a long day of zoomies. 😂

Rex has come a long way from the streets. He went from wondering where he belonged to learning what it feels like to be safe, loved, and part of a family.

Now he’s ready for the best part of his story: finding his forever home.
