Meet Maple ❤️

Maple’s story began on the streets of Deep South Texas, where she was found alongside her dad, Oakley, and her brother, Asher. Oakley stayed close to his babies and helped keep them safe while they survived a life they never should have had to know.

Thankfully, Maple has embraced her new life with an open heart.

From the moment she entered foster care, Maple seemed to understand that she was safe. She accepted love and affection almost immediately and has blossomed into the happy, playful girl her foster family knows and loves today.

Maple’s personality is impossible not to love. When she’s excited to see you, her whole body starts wiggling—not just her tail. She loves making sure you know exactly how happy she is that you’re there.

She loves playing fetch, racing around the yard with the zoomies, and running and playing with her dog friends. Maple loves other dogs and has such a fun, social personality.

Once playtime is over, though, Maple is ready for cuddle mode. She loves curling up on a big comfy bed, snuggling with her people, and rolling over for some well-deserved belly rubs.

She’s also doing wonderfully with her puppy routine. Maple sleeps quietly through the night in her crate and, when kept on a regular potty schedule, does great with potty training and doesn’t have accidents in the house.

Maple and Asher are currently in the same foster home, but they are not a bonded pair and can absolutely be adopted separately. Maple is ready to continue her journey with a family of her own.

She’s the perfect combination of playful, affectionate, silly, and sweet. After everything she experienced growing up on the streets, seeing Maple confidently run into the arms of the people she trusts is exactly what rescue is about.

Maple is ready for her forever family—and she has a whole lot of love, wiggles, zoomies, and cuddles waiting for them.

*Adoption fees for all dogs are $250 and include all essential vaccines, heart worm treatment (if necessary), a microchip and spay/neuter.
