Adult- Spayed- Pitmix

One of our dedicated volunteers came across a heartbreaking plea on social media about a sick mother dog, a male dog, and six puppies that had been left to suffer after their owners were evicted. The tenants abandoned these dogs on a property in dire conditions, leaving them for dead. Initially, our plan was to provide basic care, including flea and tick treatment, dewormer, parvo vaccines, and food. However, upon arrival, the situation was much more severe than expected. We immediately rushed the ailing mother and five puppies—one was tragically unaccounted for—to an emergency vet, as they were in critical condition. The next day, we returned to rescue the male dog, bringing him into our care as well. All seven dogs had been living in the harsh Texas elements, enduring fleas, parasites, and severe skin issues. Two of the puppies required hospitalization and a blood transfusion due to their weak condition, and all of them showed signs of serious neglect, including pale gums and malnutrition. All seven dogs have now received the care they needed and are in good health.

June, the mother, has been spayed and has completed all necessary vetting. She is now in search of her FURever home. June is dog-friendly with proper introductions, and she loves sunbathing, going for walks, and being around people. One of the sweetest things we've noticed about June is that, despite being separated from her puppies, she still loves being around them when reintroduced—something that many mama dogs don’t do. June is young, but she has an incredibly calm demeanor for her age, making her an ideal companion for a loving home.

*Adoption fees for all dogs are $250 and include all essential vaccines, heart worm treatment (if necessary), a microchip and spay/neuter.
