Wilder is a 6-8 week old (as of 5/23/25) male, Chihuahua mix puppy who is expected to stay a small/medium size when fully grown. He was at an animal shelter in San Antonio, Texas and given 4 days to find a home before being placed on the euthanasia list. Rescue Pac stepped in the day before his euthanasia date and decided to rescue Wilder & his 6 siblings! Wilder is the kind of pup who just wants to be where you are. Whether you’re playing in the yard, relaxing on the couch, or heading off for a nap, this little guy is happiest when he’s right there beside you. He has a calm, gentle nature that shines through in everything he does - and while he loves to play, he’s just as content to cuddle up and enjoy a quiet moment.  He’s the kind of dog who will be your loyal companion through every season of life.

Wilder is making impressive progress with his house training and will let you know with a soft little bark when it’s time to head outside. He’s also getting more comfortable with crate training, showing that he’s not only sweet, but smart and eager to learn.

Adoption fees for all dogs are $250 and include all essential vaccines, heartworm treatment (if necessary), a microchip, and spay/neuter.
