Meet Hugo – The Garden Gnome Pup with a Chill Vibe!

Hugo was born at the San Antonio Animal Shelter with his 8 siblings, and at just 3 weeks old, he and their mama Rosie were placed on the euthanasia list. Rescue PAC stepped in just in time and saved the entire family.

Now Hugo is living his best life—and doing it his own laid-back way. He’s a calm, easygoing guy with a playful streak. Morning zoomies? Absolutely. But after that, you’ll find him snoozing in his favorite spot—his cozy kennel, where he feels totally at home.

Hugo might just be part garden gnome—he hasn’t met a flower he doesn’t like and loves exploring the yard with quiet curiosity. He’s not the clingy type, but he’s always down for a cuddle session in short, sweet bursts. He’s great with other dogs and has the cutest play style: stalk, pounce, and sprint into a game of chase! He’s mastering the doggie door and getting close to being fully potty trained. And like any growing pup, Hugo’s always ready for mealtime. If you’re looking for a mellow little guy with a silly side and a heart of gold, Hugo’s your match.

*Adoption fees for all dogs are $250 and include all essential vaccines, heart worm treatment (if necessary), a microchip and spay/neuter.
