Shepherd mix, 4 months, Male
Special Highlights: Very playful and loves playing detective
Casper was found in Dale, TX on an unoccupied property. Casper was one of 7 puppies that were rescued along with his mom and dad. Casper was fearful of humans due to the lack of socialization. However, once rescued, his fosters have really worked with him and his sibling. Casper is currently being fostered with his brother Ty in a home with an older dog. Both have really come a long way in a short amount of time and have shown to be extremely smart. His foster has reported that Casper is a bundle of energy. He doesn't mind people and will allow children to pet him. Casper is comfortable with his foster mom petting him and will snuggle on her lap for short periods. Casper enjoys chewing on toys, stealing toys from Ty, and watching foster mom in the kitchen. Casper knows sit and kennel, but his fosters are still working on potty training. For now, he will approach the back door, scratch at it in hopes that someone hears and sees him. Casper is Curious George and likes to snoop around. Casper and Ty sleep all night, about 7 to 7.5 hrs.
